This page provides full transparency into KnockBot's SMS messaging program in accordance with A2P toll-free carrier registration requirements. KnockBot uses Twilio to send automated arrival notifications to opted-in healthcare facility staff — not to courier drivers.
Who is sending the messages: L&MC Innovative Ventures Ltd Co, operating KnockBot. Messages are sent from toll-free number +1 (855) 902-2862, provisioned through Twilio.
Who receives the messages: Individual employees at healthcare facilities — such as front desk staff, nurses, or receiving personnel — who have personally opted in to receive arrival notifications. These are not courier drivers. Drivers use a separate Firebase-based authentication system and have no involvement with the Twilio SMS program.
Why messages are sent: When a courier driver arrives at a facility and triggers an arrival event within the KnockBot app, the platform automatically sends an SMS notification to the opted-in staff members at that facility. This eliminates the need for couriers to call ahead, knock repeatedly, or wait unannounced.
Secondary channel — Zello: In addition to SMS, KnockBot supports Zello push-to-talk channel integration. When a courier triggers an arrival event, a Zapier automation broadcasts a voice announcement to the facility's Zello channel. No personal phone numbers are involved in the Zello integration.
Use Case: Customer Care + Delivery Notifications
Subcategory: Automated courier arrival, on-site, and delivery status notifications to opted-in healthcare facility staff
This program does not involve marketing, promotional, authentication (OTP), or driver-facing messages of any kind.
The following describes the end-to-end flow from courier arrival to facility staff notification:
Note: In-app trigger buttons are part of the active KnockBot development roadmap and will be fully operational upon platform launch.
Consent to receive KnockBot SMS notifications is obtained through individual opt-in only. Facility administrators cannot opt in on behalf of their staff. Each recipient must personally confirm consent.
Opt-in flow:
Individual consent is collected at: knockbot.net/opt-in.html
The opt-in form displays all required consent disclosures — sender identification, message types, frequency, rates, STOP/HELP instructions, and no data-sharing statement — at the point of submission. An unchecked consent checkbox must be explicitly checked by the recipient before the form can be submitted.
No messages are sent to any phone number that has not individually completed this opt-in process. Numbers provided by facility administrators are not contacted until individual consent is confirmed.
| Keyword(s) | Action | Auto-Reply Message |
|---|---|---|
| STOP QUIT CANCEL UNSUBSCRIBE END | Immediate opt-out. No further messages sent. | "You have been unsubscribed from KnockBot messages. No further messages will be sent. Contact admin@knockbot.net to restore access." |
| HELP INFO | Returns support contact information. | "KnockBot support: admin@knockbot.net | knockbot.net. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe." |
| START | Re-enrolls a previously opted-out number. | "You have re-subscribed to KnockBot arrival notifications. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe." |
All STOP keywords are processed at the carrier/Twilio level and immediately suppress further outbound messages to that number. Opt-outs are permanent until the individual re-enrolls via START or by completing the opt-in form again.
